My husband just went to their concert! Such perfect summer music in the NW, and all over the world:-) xoxo

Oh man, saw them last summer and just... so good. So. Good.

PS I'm officially going to be in Chicago during Lolla weekend :) Not sure if/when I'll be going to the festival but I'll definitely be around if you (somehow) have a few minutes to meet up!

Oh gosh, this song is one of my favorites from the Avett Brothers! It kinda hits you straight in the heart.

I'd heard this on Pandora, quite a wonderful song. Every time I hear it I want to write a "letter [for] in my desk".

You have to see them live. Have to. Fun fact: my husband started teaching himself to play the guitar based on that song. It's the only thing he knows how to play!

I'm not usually one for slow songs (I know, what a generalization), but I really like this. Thanks for the introduction!

This makes me happy because The Avett Brothers are my favorite band and I love when people discover them for the first time. They are magical. (Go see them in concert. I've seen them 8 times and every show gets better and better.)

So strange when I click-click-click and come across a gorgeously written blog that begs me to keep reading it, but then I scroll down and see my favorite band that I've been trying to get people to indulge in for years... that sort of makes my day.
